Abstract
The ratio between share price and current earnings per share, the Price Earning (PE) ratio, is widely considered to be an effective gauge of under/overvaluation of a corporation’s stock. Arguably, a more reliable indicator, the Cyclically Adjusted Price Earning ratio or CAPE, can be obtained by replacing current earnings with a measure of permanent earnings i.e. the profits that a corporation is able to earn, on average, over the medium to long run. In this study, we aim to understand the cross-sectional aspects of the dynamics of the valuation metrics across global stock markets including both developed and emerging markets. We use a time varying DCC model to exploit the dynamics in correlations, by introducing the notion of value spread between CAPE and the respective Market Index from 2002 to 2014 for 34 countries. Value spread is statistically significant during the 2008 crisis for asset allocation. The signal can be utilized for better asset allocation as it allows one to interpret the common movements in the stock market for under/overvaluation trends. These estimates clearly indicate periods of misvaluation in our sample. Furthermore, our simulations suggest that the model can provide early warning signs for asset mispricing in real time on a global scale and formation of asset bubbles.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the ability of transition metals (TMs) of iron-, nickel- and zinc-doped graphene nanosheet for adsorption of toxic gas of nitric oxide (NO). The results of this paper have provided a favorable understanding of the interaction between TM-doped graphene nanosheet and NO molecule.
Design/methodology/approach
A high performance of TM-doped graphene nanosheet as a gas sensor is demonstrated by modeling the material’s transport characteristics by means of the Langmuir adsorption and three-layered ONIOM/ density functional theory method. The Langmuir adsorption model has been done with a three-layered ONIOM using CAM-B3LYP functional and LANL2DZ and 6–311G (d, p) basis sets by Gaussian 16 revision C.01 program towards the formation of of NO→TM(Mn, Co, Cu)-doped on the Gr nanosheet.
Findings
The changes of charge density for Langmuir adsorption of NO on Mn-, Co- and Cu-doped graphene nanosheet orderly have been achieved as: ΔQCo-doped = +0.309 >> ΔQMn-doped = −0.074 > ΔQCu-doped = −0.051. Therefore, the number of changes of charge density have concluded a more remarkable charge transfer for Mn-doped graphene nanosheet. However, based on nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, the sharp peaks around Cu doped on the surface of graphene nanosheet and C19 close to junction of N2 and Co17 have been observed. In addition, Cu-doped graphene sheet has a large effect on bond orbitals of C8–Cu 17, C15–Cu 17 and C16–Cu17 in the adsorption of NO on the Cu-doped/Gr which has shown the maximum occupancy. Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to gain a deeper comprehension of the nature of enterprise content management systems (ECMS) success by exploring factors that are important in the context of ECMS success, i.e. how these factors can be measured, and how they are interrelated.
Design/methodology/approach
The paper develops a success model specific to the enterprise content management (ECM) domain that builds on the DeLone and McLean information systems (IS) success model. The model is empirically tested by means of structural equation modeling applying the partial least squares approach and using data collected in an online survey.
Findings
The results show that ECMS positively affects organizational content management in terms of efficiency, collaboration and compliance. It also provides evidence that the use of the ECMS alone does not provide impact to the organization, but needs to be moderated either by the impact of the ECMS on the user or the users’ satisfaction of the ECMS.
Practical implications
For practitioners, the model identifies the factors that influence the success of ECMS. Practitioners can monitor these factors as performance indicators to improve users’ satisfaction with the ECMS and, thus, the success of their ECMS. Furthermore, the results can support practitioners in understanding the multiple facets of ECMS success to improve how they plan and prepare for ECM investments.
Originality/value
The study’s results contribute to theory by extending and empirically testing the D&M IS success model in a new domain and system context. The presented research is the first to empirically validate a comprehensive ECMS success model that extends knowledge related to ECM by examining the relationship between the quality dimensions and the success measures.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the role of generation in teachers’ advice and information-seeking interactions in Flemish secondary school teams, and moreover how the content of advice shapes these interactions. Four content-related advice and information-seeking networks are investigated in this study: subject-matter knowledge, classroom management, innovative teaching methods and ICT.
Design/methodology/approach
Data were collected from 660 teachers in ten secondary education schools in Flanders (Belgium) by using an online socio-metric survey. Social network analysis was conducted, more specifically quadratic assignment procedure and multilevel P2 modeling.
Findings
The findings underline the importance of investigating content-related advice networks. Generation affects the formation of interactions. First, the results revealed that older teachers are less likely to ask advice on subject-matter knowledge, classroom management and innovative teaching methods. Second, the data showed that older teachers are more likely to be asked for advice on subject-matter knowledge. Third, young teachers are more likely to be asked for advice on innovative teaching methods and ICT. Fourth, homophily effects occurred for the youngest teachers when advice is about subject-matter knowledge, and for the oldest teachers for advice about classroom management.
Originality/value
This study is innovative due to its application of social network analysis to investigate intergenerational knowledge flows, and due to its clear focus on content-related advice-seeking interactions that go beyond the approach of general advice and information-seeking interactions.

Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to identify organizational challenges that drive enterprise content management (ECM) adoption from a process point of view.
Design/methodology/approach
The presented results are grounded in both the academic literature on ECM and qualitative data from two case studies.
Findings
The study identifies and discusses 21 contemporary business challenges that drive ECM adoption along the content lifecycle (e.g. regarding the creation, storage, and retrieval of content).
Research limitations/implications
As the scopes of both the literature review and the case studies were limited, the presented account of ECM drivers is not considered exhaustive. The paper can, nevertheless, help researchers to further theorize about ECM adoption and investigate the role that content plays in business process management.
Practical implications
Practitioners are provided with empirically grounded knowledge on the drivers behind ECM adoption. They can, for example, use the results to justify and evaluate ECM investments, or determine the scopes and objectives of their ECM initiatives.
Originality/value
This study is important because the understanding is still vague as to what organizations strive to gain through implementing ECM and what results they can expect from the same.

Abstract
Purpose
To provide a discrete‐time nonlinear model for surface permanent‐magnet synchronous machines (SPMSMs) in order to discuss the stability of such machines.
Design/methodology/approach
Through differencing the co‐energy, obtained from a finite element method, the main flux path can be described by a complex reluctance. Furthermore, for a SPMSM, an equivalent circuit is presented that includes the eddy‐current losses and the voltage drops across stator resistance and leakage inductance. The model is transformed to a discrete‐time state‐space model by using a forward rectangular rule. By using a root locus technique, the stability of the new model is discussed.
Findings
From the calculated root locus it is concluded that the stability of a SPMSM is only guaranteed for certain values of the open loop gain. Moreover, by using the forward rectangular rule, it is concluded that a well‐considered time step has to be chosen.
Research limitations/implications
The model considers the fundamental space harmonic components only. Moreover, the saturation of the leakage flux path is neglected.
Practical implications
As the model is formulated in discrete time, it can be used in modern drives where a digital controller is used.
Originality/value
This paper presents an equivalent electrical circuit for SPMSMs that takes into account the saturation of the magnetizing flux paths as well as the magnetic interaction between the two orthogonal magnetic axes.

Abstract
Purpose
An evaluation of libraries and their overall quality should consider the quality of the services they provide. Satisfaction in terms of the service provided is indicative of the quality of reference services and since these services are expensive, evaluation is therefore essential. This paper aims to outline the development of a structural equations model to evaluate service quality and user satisfaction with regard to the electronic reference service provided by Francisco Xavier Clavigero Library belongs to the Iberoamericana University, located in Mexico City.
Design/methodology/approach
This model suggests that service quality can be explained by way of the five dimensions of the SERVQUAL methodology, (reliability, assurance, tangibles, empathy and responsiveness) and in turn, quality explains both user satisfaction and the value of the service to its patrons. Finally, this model suggests that a positive increase in user satisfaction leads to a lineal and positive increase in user loyalty. The evaluation considered 297 users who made at least one electronic reference request during 2014.
Findings
The adjustment of the structural model reveals that the latent variables that explain quality are reliability and responsiveness, and that quality explains satisfaction, which in turn explains user loyalty.
Originality
The generation of an indicator to evaluate the reference services enables identification of its strengths and weaknesses to offer a more efficient service, considering that it represents a significant percentage of the library’s financial and human resources.
